*All Set Back Axle Bumpers Larger Than 18" Are Not Covered Under The Warranty
*Valley Chrome's bumper bottom flanges are not fully finished. Polishing the bottom flanges would add significant costs and additional lead times to their products. Bottom flanges are not seen from a standard viewing location once installed on a truck. The conditions pictured below are normal and not covered by Valley Chrome's warranty.

Warranty Information
Valley Chrome Bumper Warranty
VALLEY CHROME PLATING, INC. extends a warranty against rusting or peeling of the polished chrome plated surfaces for a period of one year. The bumper is warranted for one year against defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not apply if the bumper is exposed to corrosive environments or other abnormal conditions. Warranty is void if any part of the bumper has visible damage caused by impact of any type, regardless of where the damage to the bumper is in relation to the defect. Altering the bumper in any manner also voids the warranty.
Be aware that there is no warranty for set-back axle bumpers, ("breakbacks‚") greater than 18". Flat bumpers greater than 18" wide may require additional brackets and bracing (not included) to avoid cracking, and may not be warranted if Valley Chrome determines the bracing is insufficient. VALLEY CHROME PLATING, INC. does not assume responsibility for the cost of removal, installation of the bumper, or any consequential expense. Peterbilt 587 Chrome Set Back Axle Bumper By Valley Chrome 
The bumper is as pictured and described. It attached via stock bumper mount points with just a little wiggling. I used locally purchased, larger than stock grade 8 bolts that fill the mounting holes and haven't had any issues. The only slight discrepancy between my bumper and the picture is that the upper bracket mounting bolts are actually hidden. The bolts visible in the picture are not holding the bumper to the truck; they are holding the mounting bracket to the bumper. Mine arrived without the bottom bolts and it looked like you could skip them for a completely clean look. My installer opted to put in 2 small bolts to make sure there wasn't any vibration of the bracket against the bumper. There is 1 bolt on right and left sides that also hold the bracket to the bumper. These aren't hidden or optional. There are bends in the bumper to follow the front contour. But, as pictured it isn't one continuous bend and the bumper protrudes just slightly from the hood where the bends are. On this truck, the overall effect is really great and I've received several compliments. I chose the 16" without step or tow holes.
